Accessibility policy of Soco's website

 

In order to promote a Web open to everyone and to ensure that data online can be read by usual browsers as by Braille browsers, this website follows the indications released by :

  • The centre de ressources et de recherche sur l'accessibilité (Accessiweb)
  • The WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)

Specific functionalities

Font size

Font size can be modified for an easier reading.
This functionality is available in the toolbar of each browser (display properties).

How to modify font size in the main browsers :

Internet Explorer :
CTRL + mouse scroll at the same time
Firefox, Firebird, Netscape :
CTRL + + - to increase and decrease
Opera :
Keys + and -


Keyboard navigation

Navigation on the website could be done with the tab key : TAB to jump from link to link and ENTER to activate the link.

Shortcuts allow to reach directly the main pages as follows :

0 : Accessibility
1 : Home
3 : Site map
4 : Search on this website
7 : Contact
s : Skip menu

Running shortcuts according to browsers and operating systems :

Windows :
Internet Explorer 4 and higher :
ALT + [shortcut] (to focus on the link) + ENTER to activate
Mozilla :
ALT + [shortcut]
Netscape 6 and higher :
ALT + [shortcut]
Opera 7 :
CAP + ESCAPE + [shortcut]

Mac OS 9 :
Not possible with Internet Explorer 4 and 4.5, Mozilla, Netscape 4 and Opera

Mac OS X :
Internet explorer 5 and 5.1 :
CTRL + COMMAND (only for some versions) + [shortcut]
Netscape 6 and higher :
CTRL + [shortcut]
Mozilla, Opera and Safari
Not possible
